President 17/03/29(Wed)23:54 No. 1546

Let's get back to the good old days when England controlled 80% of the world's land.

President 17/03/29(Wed)23:58 No. 1547

Good times.

Better than the French option.

President 17/04/01(Sat)06:33 No. 1573

Paris now becomes the financial center of Europe, to London's detriment.

Giant sucking sound in 3... 2...

President 17/04/01(Sat)10:01 No. 1576

Not very likely.

President 17/04/02(Sun)14:10 No. 1584

When London leaves the EU another city is going to take its place. When you leave the EU you no longer get to be in the EU. It's just cold hard logic.

President 17/04/02(Sun)23:12 No. 1587

That still doesn't mean the French will leap ahead of the English economically.

President 17/04/07(Fri)11:19 No. 1641

But the entirety of the EU will be using that as their economic fulcrum point. The exodus has already begun from London. Brexit marks the end of Britain's influence over financial markets outside of Britain.

Be sure to keep slashing your budgets, because the more companies shuttered the better your economy will become.

President 17/04/08(Sat)05:37 No. 1648

And God knows the EU has never made any stupid decisions that harm the people of Europe.

President 17/05/10(Wed)11:27 No. 1770

Yeah, because it's impossible that Amsterdam would be the new financial centre.

President 17/05/10(Wed)22:23 No. 1771

Wait, I thought the bankers were among the 1% and the enemy of the people. How is starving them out of a country through a lack of financial incentives bad for said country?

President 17/05/11(Thu)08:59 No. 1777

It's nearly impossible London will continue to be it.

President 17/05/11(Thu)19:53 No. 1779

Is it me or, countries ruled by europeans and their descendants take some of the most stupid, world shattering desitions? I mean, France will have a president married to a paedophile, England is constantly pressing a panic eject button and... we have Trump... And Hilary.

President 17/05/11(Thu)21:12 No. 1780

England needs grow a pair and assume its rightful title as Airstrip One.

President 17/05/13(Sat)08:37 No. 1781

Other countries are presumably making stupid decisions as well. The only thing keeping them from being world-shattering is the fact that they're not as important.

President 17/05/13(Sat)14:52 No. 1782

Am I the only one who finds it unsettling that we don't really hold more important people, organizations, and countries to a higher standard of behavior than ourselves?

Great power great responsibility right? No? I guess I'll just stick to allowing people more powerful than me to redeem themselves from any breach of my trust, no matter how sinister, because they have a particular skill at framing my making the most absolute minimum of effort on their behalf as somehow advancing my interests.
