i was just about to post something funny that i just thought of and gimp'd together, /b/ would have been slightly amused, but then i saw the captcha which is really just too much a pain in the ass so i guess i'll just go and post it elsewhere.
maybe you'll see what i made in six months when it is a repost from niggertits.

and of course i am posting this as an unrelated reply in this thread to avoid the captcha.

if any of the staff had half a brain they would figure out how to use javascript tokens to avoid the necessity of a captcha.
dozens of other imageboards do this.
its not like you're selling gold accounts and need to have the inconvenience of a captcha to sell accounts.

This is undoubtedly the wrong way to make a feature request.

As for your request in general, maybe in the future. However given that only new threads require captchas and not the posts within them it shouldn't be that much of a problem.
Your request is more of a hassle for such a petty issue, however.

We've put in Captchas temporarily in the past to deal with flooding by 12 year olds who decided we should be on the receiving end of their wrath. However, over time they became far too frequent and frustrating to deal with, eventually we just left them in.

This minor inconvenience of making sure new threads are made by humans is a small price to pay for actually having readable boards.

this is a board on a different imageboard which allows one to browse the entire site concurrently without having to open multiple tabs. for a site like 7chan with a lot of boards, but not a massive amount of activity on any one board a similar utility might be some some value to the 7chan end users, especially those of us who use the site regularly.

We do have /roulette/ for getting random threads from different boards, but I do like the idea of, instead of getting random threads, get most recent/popular/rising threads from random boards. I'll definitely look into it.

To clarify, we've since tried it a few times as a monthly'ish board, but it never got enough traffic, so not much point in bringing it back.

I've noticed that some times, when I load a board, the header of the board (the form, logo etc) loads fast but the actual threads seem to load a bit slower some tiems, some times it takes a whole minute to load. Could you guys check this up? m

And the second suggestion, I'd like to be able to open the youtube embeds with ctrl+click.

And I'd back up this idea, although I think it isn't a pressing 'issue' and I don't think it could be a board capable of sustaining it self (enough posts, userbase, etc)
