Had plans to watch it. Can you share any neggative and possitive aspects of the serries since i cant really stand some elements in an anime such as the random cute animal that does nothing for the story but its there

Typical love story stuff. Oh no, there's a misunderstanding.

I preferred Maison Ikokku, and Marmalade Boy, and Hana Yori Dango.

I'm not sure I would recommend the series, I don't think anything spectacular happens in it. Shin Kimagure Orange Road (Movie 2?) however is one of my favourite pieces of animation. Maybe it doesn't have the same impact without seeing the series first.

Another thing I like in a similar vein is Umi ga Kikoeru.

Treat yourself to the Universal Century Gundam series. Start with 0079, then Zeta Gundam, then ZZ Gundam and the movie, Char's Counterattack. There are countless one-shot OVAs and the like that tie into the plotlines in those shows, but those are your basic set. If you're wanting military realism, then War in the Pocket and the 08th MS Team are what you want, OVA wise.

Less 'real' then you have to watch Gunbuster and Martian Successor Nadesico. Although both are rather different from one another, they're great mech shows that include a bit (or a lot) of humour and imagination, rather than spending five minutes an episode flying ammunition to the hero.

I have to go with the silly side, or at least funny. I'll watch occasional serious stuff, but I have had enough drama in my life, and when it's time to kick back and relax, humor is the best medicine for me.

Then again, there are a few that aren't necessarily serious, but thought provoking as well, as was stated previously, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, and Joshiraku-both of which do have a lot of jokes/puns that do give one reason to pause at times.

mostly serious anime, however I will watch silly anime if the show actually does the silly aspect right, I didn't like full metal alchemist because the jokes got stale and felt recycled, however a show like golden boy which gets it right I would watch

Yeah, I already heard about the miserable sales and ratings. I was actually surprised that "Abnormal" got green-lit. But the sales? It might have outsold Nichijou, but that's about it.

I was asking because since I didn't read the manga, if there was much more material that either of the anime series didn't cover. I've heard there was supposed to be another episode of "Abnormal" that would somehow make some sense of the cliffhanger ending, but hey, it's Gainax, and "closure" isn't part of their makeup. Oh well.

Looking forward to the "Not My Fault" anime though!

I heard rumors that it might be a "mini-series". By "mini-series" I mean not a full ~25 minutes like most anime; but rather 15-minute or even 5-minute shorts.

That's not a big deal, because Nyaruko-san had a 5-minute micro anime series, and now the 2nd season of the full-length anime is airing.

If it's 15 minute, I would be quite happy enough. The 5 minute show-I'd definitely watch too, with a few reservations.

Like Aiura-it's not bad, kinda the same as Yuyushiki, but it's about 2 1/2 minutes of show and 2 minutes of OP & ED song.

If it's going to be good-and the makers & channels know it, why not give it a chance to show some content?

Hell Girl is one of those things where the manga is significantly better than the anime, for a multitude of reasons. Watching the anime version almost put me off anime altogether, whereas the manga is arguably readable. Well, just about. At least there's the illusion of optimism at the end of every chapter in the manga, whereas that doesn't even exist in the anime.

Okay, while all the griping, off-topic feculence is going on, someone has to go ahead and add to the list, in the way it was intended.......to slice n dice something I like in the most hideous and annoying way.

I enjoyed it (I'm really into shotacon) but I'm pretty sure most people wouldn't. Also, if it's on netflix, I'm Santa Clause.

Unless you are completely dedicated to watching anime only with dubs then I would stick with the suggestions that have been provided for Netflix already. But if you really looking to get into as much anime as possible (deeply emotional to ridiculously comical) then I would suggest taking that xbox/3DS browser and setting up a Crunchyroll subscription ($6.95 a month all you can eat anime). Nothing but subs, but just a suggestion for when you've completed your initial dub assignments.
