Well last year I was visiting my father in the netherlands and he says to me, "would you like to help me put the family tree back together?" of course i said yes, so we hopped online and with the birth certificates we already had, we managed to trace our lineage all the way back to Willem Gerardus Jacobus Aalbersberg. When we dug further, we found that the Aalbertsberg/Aalbersberg family used to own a quarter of the netherlands from Bloemendaal (which used to be called Aalbertsberg) all the to Lijden. And the Aalbertsberg name appears in the Blauwe Boek (blue book) which lists all the patrician families of the Netherlands. However, rather strangely the name changed suddenly from Aalbertsberg to de Vos, i have theorised, along with my father, that during the amalgamation of the Flemish states, we had to give up or we sold the land, and as you would all know, a name is directly linked to the land, so if the land goes, the name goes. So that is why name is Ezra de Vos die eens Aalbertsberg was. Also, we are buying the name back at some stage, almost undoubtedly there is a title attatched to as well

I spend most of my time in California lately; I find it behooves me to be near my business interests. The nouveau rich rule this place, true, but I'm not generally bothered by them in my own estates and there are a precious few persons of more dignified bearing here.

I hail from the rowdy shacks in Sidoarjo, Java, in the Spice Islands. Rowdy lot, and my own family has been disconnected with the clan for my grandmother's rather... 'rambunctious' activities. But with the efforts of my father and myself, we've been able to bring the family back to good standing and once again enjoy the finer sophisticated atmosphere that's so rarely found in Indonesia.

I was born in the northern regions of Binghamton, New York, and I moved across the country for a few years before finally making my home in Tucson Arizona. And, although I do agree with Sophisticated Gentleman that being a gentleman is not restricted to any location, it appears that way in the area I reside in. What this area lacks in intelligent individuals, it makes up for with spellbinding scenery as well as a very rich culture. The Native American reservations are very polite, and do not fit the stereotype in the slightest.
