So, I was looking up reviews of old comics that I didn't read because they looked stupid and I remembered Aphrodite IX. So, I looked up reviews of the series, and on Amazon it had several 5 star rating. I decided, "hey, why not?" and promptly found the issues online and read them whilst waiting for my laundry. Wow was it terrible.
I thought the concept was cool. The basic description of it has potential, but it was probably the worst written comic book I'd ever read. I was surprised at how dissappointed I was by it. Completely nonsensical dialogue. The art was cool though.
Has anyone else checked out old comics they liked when they were younger or hadn't read and realized that they were garbage?
