There are two problems with it.

I don't remember where I saved them from. The files were sequentially named 1830poitevin, which is a reference to 1830 and Eugene Poitevin. Google can find few other examples like this, but not all these.

Hmm. I'm not really saying yes or no, but these kind-of remind me of the old anti-monarchy and anti-church illustrations that were floating around during the French Revolution. (I read a book about them in college... I'm not really that old!) The literal translation of the page titles is "Loaded and unloaded diabolical," which makes me think that these are anti-papacy propaganda from the seventeenth century.

on your way there, take a look into the artist by the name of Hieronymus Bosch, who often drew surreal works of twisted figures and demons.
