How do we have kids in the Matrix? Also if it's the matrix shoudn't it be a utopia for all?

Good evening john

in the movies it mentions at some point or the other that the human minds rejected the paradise the machines originally tried putting them in. As for the kids I believe a healthy helping of super science takes care of that one.

DNA combination and incubation

Paradise would be different for every person (movie's explanation sucked)

What if you're holistic and don't take pills of any color? Do you go into some kind of sidereal universe?

Part of the reason the movie's explanation sucked is because the original explanations for most topics in it was deemed to complicated for the public to understand, so the studio made them come up with simpler explanations.

Instead of peoples brains being tied together to form a massive computer people became batteries. Without the studio interjecting themselves into the process who knows how logical it could have been, instead of the illogical mess wrapped up in shiny shiny SFX.

I'm sure Agent Smith explained that, John.

Have you seen the films?

I wonder why the matrixrobots didn't just enslave Africa. Much more people and they get children more quickly. Or is it because blacks have less brainpower?

Even superobots couldn't make Africa have clean, consistent power, much less calm the people down long enough to enslave them all. Boko Haram or one of the other millions of militant groups would just wander in and shoot up the place while they're trying to build their infrastructure, putting them back to square one.
