Took some suggestions I got from here and updated the game I posted the other day to make it less frustrating. Now you respawn in the same screen you die on instead of going back to the overworld. Also match pickups give you a little more matches now.
Well, it wasn't bad...
I've played worse. Good job on it overall I'd say.
Momentum is inconsistent, you start up slow but stop almost instantly upon letting go of the keys.
momentum wasn't my problem, but sometimes button presses aren't registered. most likely a lag problem.
biggest bug I found was that if you die to a boss, you need to exit the room or you can't lift up anything. it's also too easy to re-enter a room to farm some pickups for full shields.
once i died right before entering some place and 2 of me appeared on the screen

Very good, plays much more smoothly than the last one.
I had a lot of fun playing it!
Good animation not so good spritework.
Should really be able to throw objects while moving as well as drop them while standing.
Tutorial was decent but the writing should be less like the developer talking directly to the player
Tutorial also never explained that you can press down to talk to something
The layout of the game should be more linear. That is I found I could go to later levels but couldn't do anything unless I did the first ones, so the ability to go to those levels is kinda pointless and just confuses the player.
Overall good stuff guy. Always love to see more indie game devs.

this is the biggest issue
You should make the jump sound a bit more subdued to fit the mood of the game.
this game had me playing it and I forgot I was playing it because I was so interested in it
