cyanogenmod from 10.1 to 12 16/01/01(Fri)03:41 No. 22002 ID: 776200

File 145161609398.jpg - (14.76KB , 700x394 , CyanogenMod-Logo-AH-1.jpg )

My friend picked me up a used Nexus & tablet and all I know is it's an OS and Cyanogen mod (s) behind)
I ran a util (Upgrade for Android Protool that told me my system didn't meet the requirements for either Lollipop or marshmallow... (but it's weird as it says my ver is 4.1 not 4.4
it's running Cyanogen mod 10.2.1-groupler
and I think the current ver is 12. something or 13.
The updater can't see / find any of the updates.
I was wondering how to update from this to the latest version without wiping my system.
My android ver is 4.1 and no, I don't know how or if I can upgrade that higher as well...

Can anyone spoon-feed me what the hell I can do with this?

Why not wipe system?
What model is that device?
You can backup apps with TitaniumBackup, look on onhax dot net for the full apk

Downloading APKs and installing them from random webpages is like running .exe files with Administrator privileges. Any script kiddie can turn the file into a trojan, and you've just backdoored your system!

F-Droid is a package repo with FOSS apps. You can find a lot there.

saging because 3 year old thread.
