ircii is best irc
To me, I think mIRC and XChat are the best out there, but, I think that mIRC is for advanced users and XChat is for beginners. That is all. (I use XChat, anyways.)

GUIfags: xChat (fuck yeah perl scripting) Colloquy (lol, macfags) mIRC (eh, kinda blows) Pidgin (clean, but lacks features) God tier: irssi
>>658 >irssi lol tkae all those gui features that make programs intuitive and useful, and then get rid of them!! now youre a pro and can do things 3x faster.
a mIRC is fine.
mIRC is my favorite, but I don't feel like running it in wine or a vm. irssi or xchat is what I end up using depending on my mood. They are all fine clients though, and it's a matter of personal preference really.
ponyChat.
once again for the 10000000000000000 time xchat to be fancy irssi to keep it fast and simple
>>780 >irc >fast If IRC is slow, get a new airwolfing computer. It's not 1990 anymore.
