I know lots of small details, but I can't find it. It's live action at first, but switches back and forth throughout. It starts with a girl daydreaming in school, who gets yelled at by a teacher. She goes home and has an argument with her mom. Then somehow, I guess it's a dream, she gets taken to this weird place by a strange car. A talking watchdog, who is actually part watch, meets her there. I forget a lot of details at this point, but they meet a wizard of letters, and a wizard of numbers. One or the other gives her a bag (of numbers or of letters, I forget which.) One of the wizards is up an incredibly long narrow staircase. At some point her and the dog end up in a swamp, because they read a road sign incorrectly. The swamp somehow makes them apathetic or depressed or something. When they start to snap out of it and try to drive away, the mud becomes alive and tries to suck them in. At some other point, she ends up in a place of complete whiteness, with nothing around, until a street sign slowly fades into view. Then blueprints start popping up on the walls. That's how she figures out she's in a dream. There's alternate versions of her and her family. This is absolutely everything I can possibly remember. Even with all these details, I can't find ANYTHING on google. I know it's totally disjointed, but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, can ANYBODY identify this?!?!?!

It sounds like it could be by Keiko Matsui, but I've checked several of her albums with no luck, and am having trouble getting hold of her whole discography.

It's a European commercial promoting reading. Pages of a book are cut up to create images of a town while a creepy male voice-over describes a town bisected by train tracks. It's done in stop-motion and is amazing to watch.

it is on netflix instant access... if you dont have neflix you can probably watch it by getting a free trial, if that fails, say so and i can probably download it with a firefox plug-in and set up a torrent or something...

There was this weird French movie I once saw about a magician getting stranded in a village after his van brakes down. Only the entire village is full of crazy people and he ends up tied up, in a dress and with his head partially shaved. There's also a scene where all the men start this very weird dance in a bar while someone plays the piano, only the dance is more of a shuffle from side to side than anything else.

Anyone know what movie I'm talking about? It's been nagging me for years trying to remember the name!

I'm looking for the libretto (lyrics) to Philip Glass' opera Einstein On The Beach.

There is a movie about a single dad who moves his kids out of hotels in the middle of the night to escape rent. They live just outside a big city like Hollywood. The teen girl is brown-eyed and has tight-curly long brown-blonde hair. She discovers a dildo at some point in the movie, and her kid brother stays at the hotel all day and smokes weed. It's a decent movie, but I can't remember the name of it. It came out sometime around late 90s to mid 2000s.

PLEASE I've been looking for a copy of this song for at least a year now and the best I could do is get the title and singer.
