I'm very flattered by your words, but in all honesty, all credit as a catalyst should go between both Mister D, and the OP from before; were it not for them, I wouldn't have been inspired to pull those guys' E-Mail's together.

In all actuallity, if they hadn't have posted their suggestions, drawings, and inkings, I wouldn't have looked twice at many of them, and this probably wouldn't have come to fruition, so credit for carrying this thing on lays with everybody. And I don't just mean our sorry asses, I mean most of /pco/, Mister D, and whatever Gods there may be.

I've made the raw of 13-16 smaller as there are new file size limits on 7chan.

Also I realise I posted the colour versions of 11, 9, then 10. My computer arranged everything my modified rather than name for some reason.

Colour version of 14. Also I ended up converting 13-16 to greyscale to reduce their file size.

Anyways, with the addition of the 3 colored pages, the line-up numbering has to change a bit, due to the alternatives made here jumping in at the middle of something from the official lineup.

I'm thinking be posting all the pics that have been made, in the order that seems best. The first 22 are pretty obvious, since they're all official. Number 22 being the one where Goo asks Timanta if she can take a seat. Here's what comes after that in the order I think is chronologically the most logical.

Here goes.

Here's 24, we see Timantha laughing. In the official line, we jump from Goo asking for a seat straight to Trixie looking over the girls at her table, which is prior to the laughing.

I decided to take these two individual lines and keep them apart rather then to make them cross eachother. So first we see Goo making Timantha laugh, then I'll switch to Trixie looking over the girls. It just feels better.

And after this, it should be pretty obvious.

Last one I have is Tootie trying to stick Timantha's hand into her pants, which is number 38.

Also, the nick Numberor is just something I quickly thought of because I was going to talk about "numbering" these pages, y'know...

I'd actually 'planned' on something closer to one campsite, with the boys' and girls' cabins separated. The lake isn't actually all that big; it's easily rowed across. I've got a rough little map you can use for reference, if you like (and to be honest, thinking as a camp director, tiring the kids out might not be such a bad thing).
As to why I quit...well, it's hard to explain. I just came to the realization that it's not something I want to do anymore.
If I were to finish the comic, it would most likely be clean (and therefore a different animal all together, which I don't think is what anybody really wants anyway). I'd rather sit back and see what you all do with it (I am quite curious to see where it goes).

Which isn't likely to be much; I don't actually have access to most of the shows I referenced in this thing, and chose a lot of the characters based on their design and summaries of their personalities. I actually had a list of everyone in attendance at one point; if you like, I can dig it up and post it (not that you need to use it or stick by it; it was just a working list so I could fill up space with characters without having to think too much).

As for the character, I just wanted her identity, I can dig up all the info I need. Thanks for the map, by the way, but without a fairly large lake, most of what we've already written would.. Well, let's just say, it would defeat the purpose.

On a final note; The whole keeping it clean thing isn't really much of a reason to quit, well, not in my opinion at least. Actually, I've tried to keep it fairly clean myself, only including nudity where it would be most adorable (Skinny dipping, Sam showering Timmantha, that sort of thing).

A NOTE FOR THE VIEWERS: You still get quite a bit of fapping material, so don't worry about it.

Rosario, thanks for the suggestion, but we really aren't nailing down cabins unless called upon by the story. We've already strayed from D's list greatly since we didn't have it to start out with and we're probably not going to get into boys' cabin assignments at all. Though coincidentally, I think we put Kim Possible as counselor of Trixie's cabin pretty early on without even having seen these lists.

Many thanks again to D for providing his lists and references, but they're not going to match up exactly with what we've got, so don't hang too much on them, everybody. Except for the color charts, JanPan was really excited to have those.

Most probably, yes, we'll turn out some more fan-stuff. I mean, if it weren't Relevant To Our Interests I doubt we would have gotten involved in this project in the first place, right? I'm personally trying to get the guys interested in a particular epic venture of this nature but I'm not going to say much about that, don't want to jinx it.

As for the Thornberry complaints, chill people. It's not going to be a fap scene. It's going to be an excuse to bring the main characters into the audience of a show for conversation and plot exposition.

This is possibly the greatest comic I've ever seen. Now I'm going to compulsively check this thread for updates. Props to all the artists taking this project up, you're doing a great job.

Hey everybody, you may have noticed I've been fairly inactive over the past couple of days. And there's a damn good reason for this:

Well, I was hit with a massive wave of bad luck, dissapointment, and annoyance.

Firstly, the annoyance: While away, my home was broken into, my laptop stolen, and my computer tower destroyed beyond repair; somehow the fuckers who did this managed to destroy any chance of me using a computer over the past couple days.

Now for the bad luck: One of the flash drives, and the memory stick, that I used to store the most recent data on; well, they were plugged into my laptop, and stolen along with it. I have one left, but it's in a drawer somewhere, and it doesn't have the most recent data stored onto it.

Finally, we hit the dissapointment: To top off this shit stain of an event, my ISP decided that I needed to be cut off; even though I'd payed the bill. So it took a day for them to give me access to the internet.

Needless to say, I'm pretty pissed off.

To be honest, I had a bit of an urge to carry this doujin on; aging the characters by a year, coming back to this very camp, and exploring some other relationships. I was thinking of including some different characters, going a little more in-depth with the guy's side of the camp, maybe firing off more camp related topics to base the relationships on.

Unfortunately, I've yet to run it by any of the other guys, and I'm not too sure what they'd say to this. Working on the same thing for a long time can get boring, even a little stressful; so, if they agree, we might come back to create another installment at a later date.

What the Fudge does sticky mean? If i don't know what it means, my head going to blow up from confusion.

Sticky means that the topic is pinned to the top of the board and thus will not sink into obscurity and eventual death when it becomes too big to be bumped. As this one eventually will, simply due to the continuing discussion and eventual amount of content.

Trust me, there's been a crapload of progress. Even with Akaidu's setbacks he is a _machine_ that cannot be stopped. He has provided us with huge amounts of reference materials, he's organized chatlogs and put the entire timeline on a _color-coded spreadsheet_. We the idea guys have pretty much got three weeks of storyline packed full, so there's not much left on our end but helping review the page roughs as J lays them out. I heard about this project over on the most popular chan's /d/ about a week ago, and I've been checking on it daily since.

Coming from that chan, I was, like you say, expecting a veritable flood of content, most of it likely mediocre with a (very) few bits of awesome mixed in.

I now see that you guys are in fact better than the general population of the *chans, and the lack of activity doesn't mean the thread is dead, so I'll try to stop feeling so impatient ;D

Some idea of when more pages will be up might help though, even if it's as vague as 'next week'

Again, that's entirely up to our art crew. J's currently implementing the latest batch of roughs, so JanPanda should have them for coloring in a matter of days. However, as you can see from the thread, the crowd has a tendency to run with things that haven't yet been finished and put up their own versions which confuses people trying to follow this, so J and JanPan have expressed a reluctance to put unfinished stuff up.

There is an endless supply of quality pr0n on the intertubes. I will check back here on your progress occasionally, and find
diversions elsewhere in the meantime. Thanks to the talented and generous team producing this imaginitive series.

Just come to check if any new pages were up. This comic is like something u can look forward at the end of a buzy day. In my case, it like something u can look forward while waiting for naruto and bleach to update. (Dam one Chapter a week!)

i cant get any color pages. the only ones i got were page 1-21 and now i cant get any farther because of how much replays there are and this shit is not in order. please some one tell me what the fuck is going on?

The fuck that is going on is the following:

We are currently in the process of turning out Original Content, some test pages got out before we decided to go in a slightly different direction, and people are getting impatient and coloring those dead-end pages and posting, which is confusing the average person as to what is ours and what is not.

So here's a rundown for you.
1-20 is Mister D's original finished pages. The pencil 21-23 are the unfinished pages left when he originally abandoned the comic.

These are the first draft pages. They're going to be redone a bit, that's what our art guys are currently working on, but it's going to follow the same basic storyline. Following this in the thread are some character test sketches and page layout roughs.

This project arrived when I wanted to bust into the art community. I didn't know how to go about it; the excitement was too great - enthusiasm made me megafag.

With the man-god MD gifting us his version, mine's practically redundant (it's revisiting old ground, so you might not be interested). It's not finished; when 7 died I stopped looking at it and go stuck needing to finish other stuff. Panel 4 was incredibly rushed, but it's to give a rough idea of placement.

What I want is for you guys to rip into my piece. Tell me what you don't like - what's wrong. The colours were ad-libbed, thus there is no continuity between these and everyone else's (this can be rectified fairly easily). I need more skillz, but I don't want to level-grind. I've gotta milk this for as much experience as possible to become a stronger artist (too RPG analogy?).

Bitter experience has taught me to save everything in an easy-edit state. If you want to keep mine I can change it (reasonably) fast.

Here it is < (Underwhelmed? Help me out!).
In an hour I'm going to vanish for about a month, somewhere without computer access.

A ton of the major ideas from the original /pco/ brainstorming have been brought into the storyline. But yeah, we idea guys know how you feel, since now that the storyline is pretty much filled it's the art team's time to shine. It's why I seem to have evolved into a bit of a spokesman, keeping you guys in touch with where we are. Don't worry, there's plenty of awesome ahead, and this is still just as much /pco/'s baby as it is ours.

As for the art style, in the comic pages, J's been trying to be consistent with D's work. We all have just sort of assumed that this would be best, but if you guys want to see it different, that's what this thread is for, isn't it?

I can't speak for the other guys, but I personally don't see anything wrong with a bit of a gradual progression to a hybrid style between D's and J's as future pages are done. I wouldn't want it to go too far from the feel of the original, though. What does the rest of /pco/ think?
