We all die alone, because of this nothing we do inherently matters. There is no point to life, there is no point in living. Enjoy if you can, exist if you wish, and die. Thus is the lot of mortals

It logically follows then, that ww must end the eternal agony of life and death cycle for it is forever meaningless. Wouldn't you agree?
And there are 2 ways to do it. One is to keep the living immortal, using science and 2 is to destroy them using science. This charade cannot go on any longer. Would you agree?

No, it doesn't follow, as the absence of life would be no more meaningful than the presence of it. Any goal such as an end to the pain of existence would become a thing that matters, which contradicts the idea that nothing we do matters.

The point is to do everything in your power to transcend death for all eternity. For the first time in the history of life in this insular universe, there are some faint glimmers of hope on the distant horizon. Take the leap of faith. If you must die, you should rather die trying to live.

>destroy
Life will always exist somewhere, even if not in this universe. It is condemned to strive to preserve itself against all odds. That is its only purpose. Seize it.

What if the goal of life is, quite selfishly, simply to enjoy yourself and feel good - because what "matters" is only defined by yourself, is it not?

Embedding doesn't seem to be enabled on this board, but I was reminded of this:

Children and manchildren alike always gravitate toward hedonism as the "answer". There is a good reason why most thinkers reject it. You won't understand why unless you become more like them.

So "thinkers" (as you define them) don't think that because they're thinkers? I know you have a more convincing way of explaining what you mean that doesn't involve the fallacy of begging the question...either that or this is all bad-faith trolling.

Then what do “thinkers” believe is the answer? Or does your “thinker” believe there is no answer? Can’t you argue that you will have an inherently better and happier life with this hedonistic ideal?
