If your Internet searching cannot come up with "<Name of Book> pdf download" you need to stay off the webs. I see this time and time again by people who REFUSE to use common F'n sense to find a file that's requested several times. If it's an older RPG file, chances are it's out there on one of the file sharing sites and you just have to download it. Try using your head first instead of smashing it on the keyboard posting blindly cause you are too damn lazy to do a basic search.

If the book is obscure enough or new enough, it's often extremely difficult to find them.

I have to side with sparklemotion here to some degree especially in relation to PFRPG 3PP products. The past few months have seen a marked decline in the throughput of the past. While we all understand people want these, the releases are just not there for the most part. New stuff gets posted not long after they show up somewhere. The biggest issue of it all is lack of drive support which is another topic in itself.

Humbly requesting all/any Advanced Squad Leader (ASL) with the exception of the main Rulebook and the compilation of just the scenarios. I'd love to see some decent board/counter scans or fan made alternatives for printing. I've already checked through BGG, torrent sites, Google etc.

There are tools but they do not remove everything that is required in most files so they aren't really the best thing to go with. They really are more for personal use if you just do a simple run through with them. To explain how to make sure you remove everything is a rather extensive thing and honestly beyond the scope of this site for various reasons. Just using the stuff that is out there without taking extra steps, based on purchase site, is why many people end up losing accounts due to not getting everything. Overall you are better off finding someone that knows how to already do it. Other options such as a dummy account (along with not purchasing from your home for instance) or tossing into one of the purchase drives that exist are usually the better ways to go.

That Dune book was the only one ever made.

I've got 'Dune: Chronicles of the Imperium' somewhere on my archive drive; I'll toss a copy up somewhere for you. To the best of my knowledge it's the only book in the series, though. The publisher was bought by WotC, and they never released the D20 version they were supposed to make. Then the license expired and reverted back to Herbert n' Anderson.
