This is an objective list of the best games ever made,
rated in terms of entertainment, vision/actualization ratio and intrinsic poetry:
10 Final fantasy 6
9 Another world
8 Castlevania dawn of sorrow
7 Deus ex
6 The beginner’s guide
5 Shadow of the Colossus
4 Spelunky HD
3 Metal gear solid 3
2 Quake Live
1 Dark souls
In none of these games there's a defined line between good and evil, the characters and the events are blurry, just like the meaning of life, their creators followed Aristotle's teachings for the creation of masterful works of art and created grandiose games that are better than any other in the sum (THE SUM) of gameplay, visual style, story and poetry.

All of which are subjective criteria.

I don't think you know what "objective" means. Subjectively, your list is highly flawed.

Objectively, his whole post is flawed.

Subjectively too.

I love how OP tries to be subtle and then throws in Dark Souls at number one. The most casual game of all time meant to appeal to people who were too dumb to handle roguelikes or roguelites and mistake crippling players and bullet sponges as real difficulty and think dying a lot makes them hardcore.

You really wanna be hardcore? Go play fucking dwarf fortress, nethack, or any number of actually difficult games.

Aside from that it's a relatively okay list.

>Quake Live over Spec Ops: The Line

As a fan of philosophy I am calling you out as a coffeehouse, hipster, try-hard faggot who spouts shit that he barely understands in a vain way to sound intelligent but only comes across as a pretentious idiot that nobody bothers to point out as its so obvious. The only person you are fooling is yourself.

now fuck off

This is what makes me despise the Dark Souls community so much. People act so pretentious, like beating Dark Souls is some huge achievement or it's hard, and then everyone outside the community (rightfully) thinks the game sucks because of it.
