Well, that's it, I no longer worry for Z day.

I've formulated a simple plan, quick, requires no weapons, provides sustainable resources, ensured safety, and even community. No drama, no worries.

You're going to live on an at-sea oil rig where zombies can't climb out of the water, fishing provides infinite food, back up generators are built to last for decades with little maintenance, and there is plenty of living space for permanent residents?

Sounds like a good place to me

Or going off to live in a tundra wonderland, where the zombies freeze out in the open and where semi-self sufficient communities already exist.

Going to head out on Lake Superior. In a sailboat, you're a moving target, so even if they walked out on the bottom, and started to pile up, you'd be elsewhere before they'd reach you. Superior is a cold freshwater lake, just boil it to drink, full of fish & freshwater critters to eat, a shit ton of pristine shoreline should you desire to come ashore for anything, and crazy wind and storms to sink all but the most sentient life forms aboard vessels. Just drift about, chat up other sailors, hang out on the water. Easy.

I was guessing Suicide.

Well, there's always suicide I guess, but cruising about and getting it on with sailing girls sounds considerably more enjoyable. Ultimately, you'd make a number of raids to port towns to stockpile tools and materials on a barge, for maintenance & probably a community center... An untouchable floating community.

...though, you wouldn't have to wait that long really, probably just a couple years, since bodies out in the wild decay fairly quickly. I guess it'd depend on how long it took the infection to spread landmass-wide and wipe out all the peeps.

Not sure why you'd want to spend all that time isolated in a dark dank prison or strong house, fighting off endless Z's with limited resources, at high risk of infection and starvation to yourself. Doesn't seem too smart.

Forget getting the chills when you masturbate.

You will be cold.

You're going to want water from ice.

You need energy for that.

You need oil for that.

You need millions of dollars worth of drilling equipment and more for personnel for that.

You need to have environmental remediation supplies to clean up the microbes that live in frozen ice in cold areas.

You're going to have terrible and inconsistent crops in the cold.

No, OP, you're fucked.
And, before being fucked, you're going to be cold and miserable.
