The fascists were wrong. The ideal of uniting an entire nation of people in will, spirit, ~~and ethnicity~~ is impossible. In the long run, it will always fail, however stupendous the initial gains may seem.

Fascism does not work. It's one of very few post-Marx radical ideologies that has actually been attempted in its purest form, and that failed just as miserably as every bastardization of it has.
