The fascists were wrong. The ideal of uniting an entire nation of people in will, spirit, and ethnicity is impossible. In the long run, it will always fail, however stupendous the initial gains may seem.
Fascism does not work. It's one of very few post-Marx radical ideologies that has actually been attempted in its purest form, and that failed just as miserably as every bastardization of it has.
