What breed is your canine companion and best friend?

Sophisticated Gentleman 13/01/13(Sun)04:48 No. 1958

Springer Spaniel and Negro, respectively.

Sophisticated Gentleman 13/01/13(Sun)10:57 No. 1962

I have found labs to be my favorites. My first dog was a quarter timber wolf, quarter yellow lab, and half Samoyed and he was awesome. Smart, nice, and absolutely huge. My second dog is half lab, quarter german shepherd, and quarter doberman. She is kinda stupid but pretty awesome.

Sophisticated Gentleman 13/01/17(Thu)16:12 No. 1986

Mine is a completely black labrador bitch with a great family tree. Although since she is getting older she has a grey snout.

As mine are for no greater task than companionship and have no need for affecting purposes they'll never indulge in, I have selected the finest in mixed breeds. These chaps have borne witness to the cruelties of man and therefore are rightly appreciative of their current splendid care, giving their utmost to repay it with affection and humorous antics.

Sophisticated Gentleman 13/01/22(Tue)10:01 No. 2000

An Irishman, he is a sturdy breed who is only required to be fed oats and whiskey.

I have three greyhounds here, very loyal to anyone who's holding a plate of food.

Sophisticated Gentleman 13/01/26(Sat)12:26 No. 2008

A three legged black lab, german shepherd. My rule of thumb for dogs is: if you can easily throw it over a fence, then it's too small

Sophisticated Gentleman 13/01/30(Wed)16:08 No. 2026

Another fine addition to your philosophy:"If it bounces as it barks, it is not a dog"

The+Jinx 13/03/07(Thu)09:23 No. 2112

The Siberian breed of Husky, is of a quiet, yet noble countenance. My Russian companion is of rugged endurance, yet quite... eccentric, believe it or not, in his advanced age.

I own a pug/rat terrier mix. He's the cutest thing

Sophisticated Gentleman 14/01/22(Wed)01:45 No. 2686

You are certainly a gentleman of fine canine tastes. I myself have owned springer spaniels for most of my life.
They make impeccable house pets and just as dependable hunting dogs. I applaud you on your choice of companionship.

Sophisticated Gentleman 14/04/18(Fri)21:33 No. 2758

As a man of great industry, my often busy schedule combined with my long hours of travel have, regretably, kept me from making acquaintance to some of these endearing beasts. However, in due time I shall succumb to the fraternal need and promptly acquire one, preferably of pedestrian origin for longevity.

I find the jack russell terrier to be a tremendously loyal companion dog, also an adequate hunter, most impressive however is it's long lifespan, living upwards of 20 years in most cases.

Border Collie/Beagle mix.

Very intelligent animals, their language capacity is surprisingly high.

Beagles for sure.

>Small to medium-sized dog
>A member of the hound group,
>Great sense of smell and tracking instinct >Beagles are intelligent but single-minded, >Even temper
>Lack of inherited health problems.

Sophisticated Gentleman 14/08/26(Tue)01:34 No. 2849

Hooligans who lack respect, like you, are the reason why ladies are rare on the Internet as whole.

Sophisticated Gentleman 15/05/29(Fri)04:52 No. 3034

A Pembroke Welsh Corgi and a miniature Dachshund. Though they're too small for my taste, the Corgi was rescued from an abusive home, and the Dachshund has been by my side for 11 years.

Really agree with that sentiment.

My dog is a German Shepherd Lurcher cross. Got her from a rescue charity when she was 2, now it's been 7 happy years.

Sophisticated Gentleman 15/07/25(Sat)22:16 No. 3075

I also concur whole heartedly. Absolutely DESPISE yapping dogs; Chihuahuas could replace clay-pigeons for shooting skeet as far as I am concerned.
