So do any of you other /class/y gents dip snuff? if so, what kinds? pic related. my favorite.

Sophisticated Gentleman 13/03/13(Wed)20:42 No. 2124

I started using it when I quit smoking. Cinnamon was always my favourite. When I ran started to run low I decided to quit tobacco entirely. On occasion I wish I hadn't.

When I was working the Wamsutter oilfield the chances to smoke a full cigarette were few and far apart. I started using Copenhagen Straight Long Cut. Decent taste, doesn't feel like rat shit is resting on my gums and in between my teeth.

I have since stopped.

Sophisticated Gentleman 13/03/15(Fri)04:08 No. 2133

Lets be honest here. Snuff is the most useless form of tobacco. My god does it suck. There's just no enjoyment from it, unlike cigarettes.

Sophisticated Gentleman 13/03/15(Fri)04:12 No. 2136

Let me be entirely honest.

Snuff is not useless, when you can't smoke in the oilfield and you're needing a nicotine fix, then snuff does the job, just not as well as a cigarette.

The only downside to snuff is getting all of it out of your mouth when you're done.

Just because you cannot find an appropriate use for it does not render is useless for everyone else.

Sophisticated Gentleman 13/03/15(Fri)07:34 No. 2138

Seriously? Because I tried snuff for at least half a year and I got jack shit from it. Nothing matches the immediacies of nicotine from smoking.

i started dipping when i was in the military due to the fact that you cant dip near jets and jet fuel. plus it tastes good and lasts longer than a cig.

Sophisticated Gentleman 13/04/23(Tue)01:21 No. 2293

Started dipping because you can't dip near jets and fuel?
You must be the person who was trying to acquire 2 gallons of prop wash.

Anyhow, snuff would be un/class/y. Extracting the juice from finely shredded tobacco creates an unseemly byproduct, especially if one was to release it upon the floor, deck or flight line.

noko 16/03/11(Fri)11:17 No. 3141

snus for the proper gent interested in oral uptake of nicotine.

Sophisticated Gentleman 16/06/22(Wed)07:44 No. 3178

A classy establishment has a fucking spittoon, you fucking barbarian. You don't spit on the fuckin deck dude. You spit in spittoon!

Sophisticated Gentleman 18/05/03(Thu)03:39 No. 3329

There is no way this is /class/y by any stretch of the imagination.

Sophisticated Gentleman 18/07/31(Tue)04:09 No. 3349

I will second this poster. Snus is the safest form of tobacco and it is the most discrete (no spitting). Unfortunately not much nicotine compared with snuff. I think in Sweden smokeless tobacco enjoys a better reputation than in the US where it is perceived as a low class activity.

Sophisticated Gentleman 18/10/19(Fri)22:14 No. 3366

this shit ain't classy and I'm judging you all.

Sophisticated Gentleman 18/12/30(Sun)13:29 No. 3386

Dip, snuff, and chew of any kind is simply not /class/y. Maybe my preconceived Pennsylvania-born Yankee ideals are what draws me to this conclusion, but smokeless tobacco is simply quite low class. To let that substance enter your mouth through any other form than smoke or vapor is abhorrent classlessness.

Not dip but Swedish snus

Sophisticated Gentleman 19/08/25(Sun)09:10 No. 3474

Based and smokepilled
but seriously I agree, my father dipped when I was little and it made me lose any desire to try other than a few times. It has such a disgusting taste, I have no idea how anyone can be addicted to something that tastes like dirty water and moss

Sophisticated Gentleman 19/11/11(Mon)13:21 No. 3503

I do not make use of snuff, unfortuately. It seems extra, beyond basic life. I need food and water right now, I'm not concerned with that. I won't be investing in that any time soon. That's in the far away future. lol I have a book coming in the mail. I'm awaiting the basics. I'm gonna learn how to make money and be loaded overall. I'll have too much money to conceive of. That's a minimum level. lol
