Is this ever coming back?

That show was great but it's probably won't come back unless a streaming service brings it back

I loved this show but it ended right at the perfect time. Just long enough to not overstay it's welcome but also let the rot start to show. The movie is proof of that. And that's what would come back; the movie, not the show. You aren't going to get a hand drawn cartoon where they cross over the line like the ice-cream truck just showed up at the Special Olympics. You'll get a clip-art tier flash animation parading it's "vulgarity for vulgarity's sake" message that was ruining all their episodes. I mean, I'm all for shock humor but that message has the same problem as "jokes are art." It may be true but no one cares and you kind of miss the point when you start saying it.

So what you're saying is that 30 or so episode outlines i have saved in a word file are never gonna be made into actual episode for people to enjoy someday? Damn, for some reason id become convinced it was coming back.

>>25828
I wish this would happen. I wish netflix would just hand over the dough for another few brand new seasons like Big Mouth and all the other adult toons they have there. It was a solid show. I don't see why it had to get cut down so early in it's run. If it was purely a matter of expensive, surely some eccentric millionaire could feasibly ressurect it someday if they so desired?

also that wasn't ruining all their episodes, just the movie, which was still pretty watchable.

No, not from the creators, just ideas i came up with myself. The dudes who made the show want to bring it back but don't have the money for it i think is the current situation. in anycase, the network should have let them run for longer. Show was only 3 seasons in when it got cancelled.

it was pretty popular i think. i think a lot of dt's cancellation just revolves around the fact that the show was really expensive to produce, and the low brow nature of it made it hard to earn sponsor's or something, so naturally, in spite of it's popularity with fans, it didn't last in the long term. the creators sold a bunch of dvds a few years ago to try and assemble enough cash to bring it back, but nothing seems to have came of it. i'm guessing it takes a lot of money to greenlight a season of this for television.

Going back over my ideas though. They should have did one where it was a pisstake of the human centipede but the joke is that the dt characters are so fucked up that they actually kind of enjoy it, or at the very least, it doesn't really bother them, which in turns freaks out the scientist and they end up turning the tables on him.

So how serious is the obesity epidemic in America? Is it like one in every ten people is morbidly obese, or is all just invented by the media to boost salad sales?

Damn, those actually do sound like some good episodes. You could even do a Pleasantville thing for the last one. I would have the B-story be Toot trying to stop the moment she became fat or something.
