It depends on the field it's used. I can tell you that I'm glad that nowadays, cannabis industry is getting developed because of the science. It's a great way for me to cope with stress, and I'd say that if it was legal in my place to grow cannabis (well, it is, according to this article https://getchip.com/is-it-legal-to-grow-cannabis-in-new-jersey/ , I just need a license for that), I'd have plants all over my house already.

Remember those "omfg science bro" kits that basically had you make a sugary goo to eat with a bunch of fake test tubes and shit? They advertised for those nonstop when I was younger

I laughed at "science is evil" before, but now I kinda get what HP Lovecraft was getting at when he said that too much of the wrong kind of knowledge of the truth would destroy us.

The blackpills exist for many things, notably for love, which science has killed, people know too much about the mechanics of romantic interest, and it's ruined the concept of love even for those who are successful at finding it.

Its made men and women hate one another and themselves.

The second thing was learning about genetics and the mind and having my entire concept of free will destroyed, and just as it was with the above, the more I learned the more I realizes that I couldn't claim to know. But yeah, biorealism and genodeterminism are now inescapable conclusions for me.

We also learned too much about physics, realizing that the me that I mentally perceive a shaving began writing this and the me that is look at the screen right at this moment are many separate beings from each other, inhabiting completely different worlds, and all of which have always existed and will always exist in a state of eternal motionlessness, so I am a rapid succession of totally separate beings with no real continuity of consciousness, merely the subjective experience of being the same as the version of me in my memories.

Worse, that the series of still frame universes I am a part of is not the only one, and there is at least one film reel timeline for every unique sequence of universe configurations. Which means not only that everything happens and all of it predetermined, but also that truth and reality itself is not a universal but local and relativistic thing.

So everything is real, and what's real or not depends on where you are, everything is happening, but whether or not you get to witness it happen is again dependant upon where you are, not only that but everything has happened and will happen and is happening all at once because time does not work when viewed from without from an objective perspective that nothing could ever possibly have, like we perceive it to work from a subjective perspective within spacetime.

Basically, all conceivable worlds exist and many more I conceivable ones in addition to that, the same goes for all futures, and all pasts, and our future is objectively fated as well as predetermined causally, and all we can do is what we were going to do to bear witness to what we were always going to see, and I guess I should just enjoy the ride? But I'm not having fun and I want to get off. Guess that's decided for me too.

I'm fated to do everything I could possibly do, and everything that its not possible for me to do as well, and objectively speaking, I've already done all of both, but also objectively speaking, I've actually not done anything at all because there's not one me, and none of the things that are me do anything at all, they are just motionless parts of an infinite motionless universes.

Its easy to explain with illustrations, but I bet you get what I'm getting at here. I want to say the knowledge that this is probably how it is, that god not only plays dice and loads them but has casted them every which way and got every result in every order. The omniverse is true, most likely.
