Although I sage in all fields >>/b/751963,
sometimes I still get a randomly assigned e-mail address. The post was already at the top of the page, but I assume this means sage has failed.

This happened again >>/b/752096

I notice, for the second time, that the substituted email address is "two@weiners". Also this sage appears to have been successful (the thread was not bumped). Does it even matter?

"two@weiners" == "sage" ?

New case:
>>/b/753094

this time, no email address at all--but thread still saged, and did not bump.

Can we extend "embed" to allow motherless videos?
They use a code just like youtube and google, but I don't know about their API.

Case in point:

The URL isn't the issue, it's the video player that needs integration. When someone figures that out maybe we can add it. Care to volunteer?

I'd like to know what kind of information 7chan had to hand over to the authorities.

Are you logging IPs, etc? and for how long?

Exactly the kind of thing that is not too much trouble for the FBI.

Having a script pull the ban list every 15 minutes would be a pretty effective way to nab a few extra pedos, if nothing else, which is more than enough motivation for our friendly federal overlords.

Leave it be a lesson to shit-posters; if you get banned the party-van will be round to pick you up shortly.

Why have a website that nobody uses? I remember when this very board used to link to 4chan/b/ (because moot bought it or something?) and since then this place has died. 8chan is utter shit but it has completely replaced this chan as the 'contrarian choice' and eclipsed it completely. Maybe it was because the userbase of 4chan at the time wasn't large enough for a branch off to happen?

At any rate I'm wondering why this site is still here. Are you all on IRC instead?

Don't worry bud, ticklechan.biz is on the rise. It's being built now to support all the fucked up shit the internet has to offer.

Anonymous 15/12/23(Wed)10:31 No. 8798

i like 7chan because unlike 4chins and 8chums, the people here are calm and bitter. it's a good combo. things here are slow, but there are many great discussions to be had. there was onc-
wait i dont need to explain shit to you, you fuckin' strawberry. get outta here.

Anonymous 16/03/02(Wed)08:13 No. 8849

7chan in 2007 had way better userbase than 8ch had at any time.

But nothing matches 8ch's setup and policies.

You have to put up with shitty users to get the meat. Story of my life.

Optimized gifs' thumnails break.

optimized (14.8kb): >>/banner/1270

unoptimized (175.9kb): >>/banner/1271

Can anything be done about it?

>>
Anonymous 16/02/18(Thu)19:10 No. 8827

Above is with firefox.

Same problem, slight difference on Android Chome: a visible frame of the optimized gif appears in the thumbnail, but the thumbnail does not animate.

unoptimized thumbnail animates.
