Don't know anything like Lain. It had a unique atmosphere and pacing. And was just nice and trippy.

Watamote I have on my watchlist which I add stuff much more often to than actually watching but I suspect it's nothing like Lain.

Obviously watch berserk if you haven't. That shit is probably the best series of all time as far as anime goes. And if you saw it, then watch the Golden Arc trilogy.

What are you looking to get out of it or just waste time? Or are you just looking for good art? What's the end goal here? You can watch anime movies plenty of pretty good ones unless you saw all of them already. But then you can go through Miyazaki's catalog.

The only thing those have in common is a city setting and a female lead.

Dunno about any of that kinda verbal drool-speak. Methinks it's the language of the current style of hipster-speak. Like using words that essentially dont mean jack but are part of the modern audience.. Might be "mid" or might be "absolute cinema" Probably means here today - gone tomorrow language cancer..
'Scuse me whilr i retch..

Ur retarded. Vibe is vibration like music or atmosphere. It refers to a type or kind or mode.

(back to /b/ with you)
