Happy Blue Moon! Yep. It's the second full moon of the month so that's why we call this a Full Blue Moon. This second full moon of the month will become full tommorow May 31st at 4:45 AM EST and it will be a micromoon. That means the moon will be further away than usual and the furthest from Earth micromoon of the year at 252,360 miles.

Enjoying this beautiful weather. It's perfectly clear out and it's even going to get quite chilly. I recently stopped by the Goddard Space Flight center just because I happened to be near and went to see the exhibits and rocket garden. It was... informative but nothing to travel out of your way for but what goes on behind the scenes has alot of history. Also, how about that Blue Origin rocket explosion? Pretty crazy! That's gotta be the largest explosion ever on the Cape!
