> not a cloud or haze in the sky

I am highly skeptical of this, particularly after seeing those daytime pics with the blue sun.

Ooooh. Have you looked out the horizon right now? Taken now. It's warm isn't it? All that atmosphere. Almost like a blood moon.

I'm too late. While it is indeed very moon out tonight, it is too high and just regular color now.

I used to work at a newspaper. We printed a few local papers. One paper sent us their A1 with a 72 point font header that said IT'S SCORCHER! They forgot the A. Had us run it anyway. So many people bitched to us about it afterward, too.

I've been scratching the surface, checking nasa's official accounts and in none of them I've seen such night views of the martian sky
fuck I wish this >>845327 was real, but it probably isn't

Those photos are accurate, they have been distorted or enhanced to show more color or contrast or something. However, the Martian night sky does show a shit ton more stars then our own because Mars does not have an atmosphere.

Mars does have an atmosphere but it's very thin compared to Earths and is made up of like 95% carbon dioxide. You'd think that would make the night sky look incredible, but actually it would look much the same as the darkest spots on Earth and one reason for that is alot of dust in the atmosphere. So twilight would be much much longer and have a eerie glow long after the sun sets. When it does set, you'll see Deimos and Phobos moving across the sky much faster than our moon. Also they will be much smaller. You will see Jupiter and Saturn at a much higher magnitude than here on Earth and Earth to Mars would look like the skies brightest star unless you mistake it for Deimos which if I remember was the smaller one. Also because Mars still has an atmosphere, you will still see meteors burning up and often hitting the planet surface because it lies so much closer to the asteroid belt. You wouldnt see this if there was truly no atmosphere. Pic related from NASAs Insight Lander.

So everyone wishing the sky on Mars would look like something from a sci-fi movie like Pitch Black will be very disappointed.(ಥ﹏ಥ)

ur le nasa, so tell the nerds to take a 360 view of our cosmos on a 0 atmosphere place, shouldn't be that hard, and would be neat as motherfuck

Completely off topic. I just want to say that I don't fully understand. I have some thoughts and ideas sometimes that I don't mean or take seriously and that's it? That's the big issue? Anyway, I saw a thing today that wasn't at all what I had in mind. Everything else has been lame this summer so I'm out. Don't care what you think. Can't do anything about what you think anyway. No change is taken as change by people, they just remember what you were like before and pretend you're still the same. Makes trying anything a waste of time.

some people seem to get a kick of dragging you down to their level, is just the way it is, some even put it in words directly
>this guy is going to come back, I can't wait to get him on drugs and destroying him
a friend of mine just said that literally about some other guy that supposedly was his friend, he wanted him to fail at life

you could argue that there's no harm done, however the mortician might find something strange and get you in trouble
