Carrots are the most annoying thing to grow, they need special soil consistency to not look freakish.

Fuck you, try growing them yourself first. Annoying little things, potatoes are the superior root veg.

Okay I've clammed down a bit now.
Carrots were where I live, a long, long, long, time ago. Used to reguvinate the soil after three years of growing the same crop. Instead leaving it falo. They were mainly used as animal feed.
Another thing, >>846073, did no one ever get you to cut head off a carrot and stick in a small dish or old lid filled with bit of water til start grow roots?
I feel you have been let down a little in life.
Sorry for having a go at you.

I really need to get into regrowing some things. The easiest is green onions/scallions. I'm sure we've all tried regrowing celery and lettuce in the past but it's just not worth it in my opinion. Now you can plant carrots and regrow sweet potato. Carrots will sprout and grow leaves you can use as a garnish and if you let it grow long enough it will flower and produce seeds that you can plant to make a more carrots. It won't grow a new root though. Sweet potato is a little more useful and worth it.

I'm not sure that's how that works, but I'm no Mr Greenthumb here, so I'll leave it to carrot bro to correct you.

I'm pretty sure I'm mostly correct because I've done it myself. For carrots you can easily regrow carrot greens but the root or orange part we eat won't come back. If you have a seed sweet potato you can easily put it in water to grow roots and greens on top then plant. Yeah, I'll let the 🥕 expert correct me if needed. It's been a long time since I've done it. It's hard to justify when you can get a huge bag of carrots for 99c.

Yeah, you need some the leafy green top of the carrot will grow roots, then you can plant it. A bag of carrots for 99c, well. Mond you doing it once every so often to create a seed bank...
Sweet potatoes, have not tried. Potatoes I have, back breaking. Although I have seen the old car tyre method. Know that's how I'd do it in the future, also saves space.
Look into it super cool idea.

Tomatoes fresh grown, best the crap I buy from the supermarket.
Need pester some people I know. We all grow one the and then share, so we don't end with to much.

Wait, you can actually have it regrow the roots (the long orange part of the carrot) after you cut it off? I knew you could grow greens and it'll seed but I've never been able to regrow a carrot from just a carrot top.

Why would I grow carrots like a nigger when I can buy am enormous bag of them in exchange for several minutes of work?

Anonymous 26/08/27(Thu)12:11 No. 846140

>>846130
That's actually what I think as well. Best quality tomatoes and cucumbers cost a pretty penny tho sometimes. In Korea and Japan for example good fruits costs like non-nigger money. Which is what it's supposed to be, but God damn, and got to be rich if you want to eat kilos of that quality fruit everyday. Most people are peasants. Even if they live in a city.

Oh, don't ever bother going back. I'm totally uninterested in weather carrot grows or not.
It's all about moist Mother Earth letting gentle finger her. Then drop a carrot seed in. Cover it up and walk away.

My friends got great tomatoes grow right now. He said he gives me few when there ready. Very kind of him.
