I’m really struggling with the transition from traditional art to digital. My hands are shaky, the pen feels hard and bulky, and I just can’t get my lines to look steady, even with stabilization. It’s honestly really discouraging.
I just draw traditional and then scan it and color digitally. I feel fine using digital paintbrushes but trying to actually draw/ink digital is a circle of hell for me.
>>846096 Same. I still start with pencil and paper, and then scan that. I just can't get used to drawing completely digitally no matter what hardware I use, or how long I try.
Thank you for starting a threat about this, but can you please show me pictures of each stage that you're talking about, it's just hard to imagine what exactly you are doing and what works or doesn't work for you
Just post pictures of anything at any stage please

Whatever the result, create.
>>846105 What kind of retard would think that digital is not art. Most pastel and watercolor and crayon artists are not half the artists that pixel artists are. Yes, even the ones that are using 100 on 100 resolution, I would say especially those. Sorry no examples on the current device.
>>846107 Plenty of people, up until now, did not consider digital art to be art.
>>846111 Their concept of art is so incredibly poor, but what do I know to each his own.
>>846112 But it's AI slop
>>847187 Digital art is much broader than that. It existed for decades and up until the last few years it dominated the digital art scene completely and utterly and even pixel art which is literally like for example 64x64 grids of colored squares... Can go so deep you have no idea Need I mention that you can shuffle a 52 card deck in more ways than there are atoms in the visible universe? There's plenty of creative elbow room even in the most restrictive digital arts like pixel art. If you cannot create something profound in that medium, it's purely a skill issue.
>>847187 AI does not exist yet. Slop is everything LLMs or any other kind of statistical model produce.
