The first thing to do before any debate is establish values, you need to determine what is preferable compared to other things. This is where ethics comes in, any political discussion that does not begin with the establishment of what is to be considered good or bad lacks any metric of judgement and so there cannot be any discussion of politics since how can we decide how to pursue our goals if we can't say what our goals are?

So we begin with a cogitation on what ought to be achieved before we can say what ought to he done.

Agreed?

Debating non anonymously is basically just putting a target on your back for any future intelligence if it's malevolent and if it's benevolent then you won't need your debates either.

Can be fun, but ultimately actually quite dangerous given the amount of analysis that is soon going to be available.

I mean any reasonable discussion would be very counter to current establisment or public opinion...

You're not going to convince anyone of anything most likely, but you can loose your relative anonymity in the public eye or in the intelligence sector. Everything's gonna be analyzed soon including every individual. Why reveal more than is advantageous to you?

The point is that on imageboards like /pol/ they don't establish what is the criteria for establishing better or worse, more or less preferable, good or bad, etc. They just talk about doing shit without figuring out what their goals should be. How the heck can they do that? Politics needs a value determination to say "this is what I want to achieve, this is what I want to avoid, and in that light, this is what I believe will be the best way to go about that".
