What do you think of José Saramago? I read 'The Elephant's Journey' and thought it was good. His style really drew me in and was very clever. Curious to know if anyone has read any of his other works and what they thought of them.

I'm probably about to start writing a thesis on his work in the next few months, I've read most of his work and over the next 9 months, I'll probably have read all of it. I think from that it's pretty obvious what I think of him. What do you wanna know? I'll try to answer as best I can
