Suprema (and the reader) do not see Butterscotch Fox because she is buried under the rubble.
Suprema had been observing Susan Steel, after Butterscotch Fox was buried, for 5 seconds.

The High Commander and her troops fired at Suprema from the dark planet.
The slaughter droids were closing in on Suprema.

Suddenly the slaughter droids were getting destroyed by missiles and laser-fire.
The ship could not be penetrated by the weapons of the slaughter droids or the High Commander’s troops .
(They made use of the shields that Butterscotch Fox also had failed to use when she went to the dark planet with Susan Steel)

Suprema, with Susan Steel’s unconscious body, entered the ship.
Immediately afterwards, Sharon MacCain trans-warped them all away to safety.
