Normally I have my tea with milk. I'm out of milk, so I added lemon juice instead. However, I accidentally added too much lemon. It's not so much that the tea is undrinkable, it's just more sour than I would prefer.

Dear John,

You are right. I did it deliberately though. I switched to green tea, so I didn't have to keep buying milk at all hours of the day.
This has saved me a lot of time and effort of going to the shop, just for some milk.

Although I do drink tea with milk at some of my friend's houses, as they don't have green tea and I dont mind.

Hope this finds you in good health and a nice cup of tea.

John

Hi John.

One time, I spilled orange Gatorade in my Chicken Noodle Soup. I ate the entire thing anyway, as that was my last can of soup. It was absolutely disgusting.

Be thankful for this sour tea.

Sincerely, John

Hey Johns,

I have something amusing to share with you. At least, I hope it will amuse you the way it does me.
Near my home, there is a facility for differently abled people. I live in a small town and it's the only one in a large area so, as you can imagine, it has quite the population. The name of this facility is Saint John of God's and, as it's quite a long name, it has been shortened, and that nickname applied to the inhabitants. The nickname is "John's". So, whenever I see a post referencing all the "Johns" here, I enjoy a quite chuckle.
Thanks for sticking with me, John.

Your pal,
John

Hello John.
I've met a guy at work called John, he listens to nice music and we get along well. He's had quite the life. I wonder if mine will be like that, or a lot more uninteresting.

He's a nice John though, I wish him the best.

My Neighbor is a nice guy. Names John.
He's 79 years old. Lived a fantastic life, but, now mostly spends his time alone. He has no friends and no Family (Other than me of course) he comes over every now and then and we talk about the wars of old. The unions that existed. All of it gone now. But, I am sure it makes him happy and his stories and insight make me happy and that's why he's my friend.
He lives a very eh life and so do I. I don't have friends or family either. I am just a generation far detached from his own.

With love - John.

The ability to focus on work is a strange animal.

I seem to have a very "single-threaded" kind of brain. Due to this, my ability to focus seems to be severely impacted by the number of things that are on my mind at a particular time. The best way that I've found to combat this, is to start working on things immediately after waking. Once I've assigned my cognitive resources to a specific task, it becomes difficult for other distracting thoughts to override it, meaning I can continue working on said task for several hours straight. Sometimes, I'm able to take a break and keep my cognitive resources on the task, in a way that when I return to said task, I feel just as focused as I was before my break.

On the other hand, if, for whatever reason, I'm unable to dedicate that precious window of time in the morning to nothing but work, it becomes extremely difficult for me to keep my focus on work. My theory is that once this single-threaded cognitive buffer of mine gets filled with distracting thoughts, it becomes almost impossible to get rid of them. One of the most frustrating aspects is that once I've found myself in this "distracted" state, I usually cannot hope to become focused until the next morning, meaning that I have to accept that a whole day is about to go to waste, even though the day has only just started. Indeed, today is one of those days.

What about you, John? Do you get a sudden burst of energy/focus in the evening or at night? Or do you feel similar to how I feel? Maybe you can only ever focus on a task for a very short period of time, or perhaps you feel like none of this affects you at all and you can simply put your mind to the task whenever you wish?

John Smith 20/10/28(Wed)05:42 No. 47552

I don't think I have the need in my life to focus on anything. I have very few responsibilities. I feel more energized after a good meal usually. I don't have the greatest attention span anymore but I really have no reason to even check that. I have absolutely nothing to do, all day, all year, years on end.

Try writing the task you'd like to focus on onto a piece of paper and read it in the morning once or twice

I had a date with a girl yesterday. But, like every other date I've had in the past seven or eight years, it ended miserably. I've given up on trying to be interesting. Life is just /eh/.

But in other news, I am drinking Diet Dr. Pepper.

Heterosexual romance is gynocentric by default.
Women under 35 are deified for their "youthful beauty", so they're not required to prove themselves.
Also, love is secondary lust. It's all built on first impressions and romantic ideas of personal future.
Which is why I have girls as friends rather than girlfriends.

Women don't want interesting. Be boring. I usually just bring women to my grandparent's house, introduce them and cook something. If they don't want to fuck they leave. Simple, boring, and easy

I was reading Understanding Comics and came across this. What the fuck does this even mean? Thanks.

Hello John,

The punctured lines within the image you have attached, seem like they might be suggesting that there are two possible states to the implied action of the reaching for the key. That is, the key is simultaneously being reached for and not being reached for. The binary nature of the presence of an action and the lack of it, likely suggests further, that is a decision.

I hope this is of help.
