Is that showing decency and respect toward the original creator? They're benefitting off of someone else's creation.

You should show respect toward the Mangaka, not CyberUnique and DKIR. I doubt they asked permission to use other people's characters, ane i doubt they're sending them checks.

For all we know, they may not even buy the manga volumes.

We hope you're dying from lack of constant content flow from your favorite artists.
As you might notice there is a drought on almost every board.
Artist are either taking down topics by DMCA strikes or simply by paying tribute to board owners.
Demand is high and artists are flowing from every side. When you visit 420chan's Patreon collab
all you can see is "do you have this?" any "chance for his/her rewards?"
Just go and count how many times butter-T has been mentioned. Yet nothing has changed. And never will.
The price of the average Patreon is around 10$ to 20$ bucks and sometimes they include percentage discounts on their Gumroad terms.
Which might be a good deal ... but not when you're a single person and you like more than 20 artists and still have bills to pay(yes WoW subscription counts).
And don't lie to yourself ... when you see new NSFW content that's censored by Patreon watermark you often think ... "if only group funding would exist".
Zeido and me came up with an idea of creating something similar.
How this gonna work?
Right now we want to separate leechers from founders to keep it clean. Simply saying anyone who donates ONE freaking US DOLLAR
to one of our PP accounts will grant a Donor role on our Discord server, where he can suggest and take a part in pools for current purchases.
But fear not we won't spend that money on bitches nor Brazzers year subscription (we already got them).
If we reach at least 10$ Zeido can subscribe for another FLAA subscription.
Think about how many images have you freely ripped thanks to people like him.
