I've had a tiny moth living in my room for almost a year. He usually just sat on the wall next to me while I was on the computer. I found him today though, and he had passed away. It actually make me sad.

Best Wishes ,
John

How old do moths get?

Anyways, rest in peace

I remember watching an episode of Phineas and Ferb in July 2013 sitting on the sofa. 2013 was a disappointing year.

I watched an episode of Phineas and Ferb a couple years ago as well. The show is essentially the same tired kids show cliche as ever. Animation is average. Writing is average. Voice acting average.

I saw the episode where the villan was trying to get the entire tri-state area addicted to his hot chocolate. Perry the Platypus saved them.

5/10 particularly average cartoon

Now recently I've been powering through duelist kingdom and let me tell you YuGiOh season 1 is actually superb.

I feel the need to defend formulaic cartoons. I grew up watching Tom and Jerry, and Wile E. Coyote chasing the Roadrunner, and enjoyed those experiences. The basic premises weren't challenging, nor were they meant to be. They were familiar and comforting, rewarding the parts of my brain that like to recognize patterns. It's the unique executions of those patterns that made the experience worthwhile. The same can be said for the stock characters of commedia dell'arte or the well-worn chord changes unique to many musical genres.

There's a place for routine; it isn't inherently bad.

I never did like Phineas and Ferb. I remember growing up as a kid I frowned upon the Disney channel.

Dear John

I know you are a very pragmatic non bullshit person, but just wrap your head around this.
Somewhere there is a planet, where we sit together in my old apartment in stuttgart and enjoy a cup of tea, reminiscing about the old times.

May our paths intertwine in our next lives.

Yours truly,
John

Dear John

Have you been doing sports lately?
I just came home from the gym, i did something for my back and jogged for 25 minutes.

Best regards,

I've been digging a large hole last week at work.
It's roughly 4 meters wide, 2.3 meters long and 2.90 meters deep.
It's been, admittedly, a moderately enjoyable project.
My core, legs, arms, hands, my whole body (to cut the list short) has grown in strength.
I prefer to workout by means of physical labour.

I wish John. I have injured my back and cannot train at all for the next two weeks. I am dreading the lack of endorphins. But I will say, two weeks of complete recovery sounds quite nice.

Regards, John

Sometimes it is actually good to take a step back in life.
Same goes for working out, let your body rest and go for it even harder when your back is all well again.

Well John, I like my coffee many different ways. My personal favorite has been by adding milk and sugar, but then I create foam by shaking milk and then microwaving it. It takes a few minutes, but it really adds to the coffee.

Best Regards,
John

I used to drink coffee but it was much too exciting for me - it always made me feel sleepy.

I strictly drink water nowadays. Thank you for asking, John.

John,

Jokes aside, Do you find that you're most comfortable when feeling eh? I was with my girlfriend the other day, and caught myself laughing and smiling. I felt a bit guilty and returned to my normal state.

Things are easier when everything's just kind of eh b

Unfortunately, if one is most comfortable feeling eh, it becomes habit and prevents you from feeling happy in times you could.

But another John is right. Eh is not bad. It is not great. It is just eh. Most people are just eh, and most people have a decent eh life.

Wow John, that is such an amazing idea. Do you know how great that would be for a John like me that deals with a lot of anxiety? Everyone is relaxed, feeling pretty eh, and just enjoying the nice elevator music.
I assume the primary drink to serve would be club soda. Not too flavorful, but definitely not flavorless.
You have me excited John. Now I need to go and calm down to my eh state.

Regards,
John

Sorry to get you worked up, John.
For the drink menu I'm thinking club soda, whiskey, coffee and tea.

Stop being a degenerate and get married. Cities are for sick people who want to live some kind of self-destructive lifestyle.

OP, I mean no disrespect, but I politely ask you to please post these kinds of questions on other boards. Us Johns are very passionate about our uninteresting conversation. We live for the "eh", and this kind of content is a little too wacky for me to comprehend.

The beauty of unrushed boards such as /eh/ is that threads stay alive for substantial periods of time. It'll be Christmas again before you know it, and maybe we can find out how our friend's strategy paid off.

I favorite letter is the lowercase "y". I don't know why, it just is. It looks so smooth. Like I could slide down it

I think R and B are shitty letters. Too rough for my tastes. Really hate most girls that have names that start with those letters. Rebecca, Barbara.

I like the lowercase j. Lots of ways to draw it.

John Smith 16/08/31(Wed)06:01 No. 45574

The girl names that bother me the most are the ones which end in "ee" but probably shouldn't. By this I don't mean, say, French names which end in "ée" (with the accent) because they're supposed to, but those where a "y" or "ie" might be more standard. It's the kind of thing where it feels like the parents are setting up their child not to be taken seriously and then wonder why she lives up to those (lack of) expectations.

It's amazing the difference a few graphemes can make. There was a time that this power would have been considered magic, but now the same power is considered to be somewhere within the social sciences.

Thank you for helping me to appreciate these details better, John.
